:: ONE-ON-ONE AND GROUP INSTRUCTION ::
Offering one-on-one mindfulness meditation instruction, training, and coaching for those of you who aren’t able to make it to scheduled classes.
I’ve worked with executives one-on-one, as well as with college students combating anxiety and challenging situations on campus. Whatever your needs, we can find a way to support you and your mindfulness practice.
I am also happy to create a customized program or class that works for you and your organization.
:: IDEAS ::
Lunch ‘n Learn classes are a great way to offer employees a taste of what an on-going mindfulness class will introduce them to. A 60-minute mindfulness practices class will have your group trying mindfulness meditation and other various practices that will equip them with tools to use immediately to increase their focus and clarity on a daily basis.
Longer 4, 6 or 8 week classes provide the structure and opportunity to learn and practice together, and to clearly see how lives change over the course of the class. Groups of up to 20 participants, whether from one department, or several, create greater communication, trust and productivity.
*It is not recommended that any of these classes be mandatory beyond a first introductory class.
:: GROUPS CREATED BY FRIENDS OR FAMILY ::
Mindfulness instruction for Moms and/or Dads: This is a great way to get together with friends who want to support each other in gaining focus and clarity in their parenting fun or challenges.
Mindful family time: We can meet together in your home to establish a regular mindfulness practice time and approach to family life.
Mindfulness for Teachers, Doctors, Therapist: Whatever your group may be I am happy to create a curriculum that speaks directly to the needs and challenges of your group.
Engaging, proven and useful training and support materials help to weave a network of people together with a common understanding.
:: MINDFUL AWARENESS PRACTICES CLASSES ::
Mindful Awareness Practices are the signature educational programs of the Mindful Awareness Research Center at UCLA. I am a trained and certified facilitator of this six-week class series. The classes lay the foundation for participants to understand basic principles of mindfulness, develop a personal meditation practice, and to apply the principles in their daily life on an ongoing basis.
Each class is a combination of lecture, practice, and group feedback and discussion. Students report that the group support is one of the most helpful and inspiring aspects of the class.
